“Taking showers”
I’d like to rebutt that in re TMBG dream #4: That was my reply, and it’s a joke? Maybe not a good one, but, you know.
The gal who posted the initial dream is one of the least dirty-minded people I know, actually. She’s tremendously kind and polite, something the Earth could use more of. My guess is that she failed to pick up on the sexual symbolism in her dream of comparing big purple confections named “BLO-pops” precisely _because_ she’s so clean-minded.
I have no such character virtues to recommend me, because I find the world entirely amusing, and think about sex all day long. My reply was a silly riff on the Freudian nature of blow-pops, and it had to be absurd because we were discussing TMBG, where Absurdism is King.
If you aim to abuse my extravagent absurdist imagination, you may fire at will, captain. It’s as salient and as broad a target as you could desire. But please show some polite restraint and leave gr_chereck out of it? She certainly isn’t scary and she deserves better treatment.
Thank you for hearing me out,
Bib :)

I certainly hope I haven’t hurt anyone’s feelings with my commentary.
Perhaps I’m not being transpaent enough about my actual delight when quoting such passages.
The bad photoshop livejournal group is really embarassingly awful, though.
Mr. Me
Well, yeah, the photoshop is pretty cheesy. But fun! Not that _I’ve_ ever *coughcough* indulged in any silly photoshopping. Ehem.
I don’t entirely get the breakfast cereal thing, but, uh, you know, TMBG fans are a creative bunch. I think Mr. Flansburgh said something along the lines of, “That’s the secret to our success - we’re not afraid to play any song… very badly.” Some of that spirit is reflected in the photoshopping, by God.
