Off-Topic: Teenage Zombies

Posted by bryan at April 15th, 2010

Y’ever seen “Mystery Science Theater 3000″ or any Rifftrax’ed movies or Cinematic Titanic?

So, my friends and I made this full-length (over 70 minutes!) alternate commentary for the 1959 travesty “Teenage Zombies”. I’ve put it online for free so anyone can stream it. It doesn’t have any TMBG references in it (that I recall), but it is extremely geeky, with plenty of obscure references.

If you enjoy it, it’s available for offline viewing here.

“When You Grow Up”

Posted by bryan at November 14th, 2009

In addition to curating TheyNow, I also like to get together with my friends and make fun of movies. We do this under the group name of “Circus Peanut Gallery”, and we just released a new short film about growing up and getting a career.

And because I am myself, I managed to make a Flansburgh / Ira Glass reference in the same sentence:

If you liked this, please share it with your friends.

Stop Being Broken

Posted by Bryan J Busch at February 6th, 2008

This has nothing to do with They Might Be Giants, and everything to do with Yours Truly (meaning me, your host, not the “Snow Crash” character):

I have a new web site. It’s sort of my answer to the persistent requirement to have a professional weblog. I call it Stop Being Broken, and it’s primarily a video podcast about usability.

Here’s an example episode:

I hope you subscribe and enjoy more in the future!

Theynow on Facebook

Posted by Bryan J Busch at October 24th, 2007

If you’re interested, I created a Facebook group for Theynow listeners, where we can share photos or videos or communicate with each other in various ways, most of which have not been attempted by me, yet. It’s an open group, so enjoy all you want!
