Stop Being Broken

Posted by Bryan at February 6th, 2008

This has nothing to do with They Might Be Giants, and everything to do with Yours Truly (meaning me, your host, not the “Snow Crash” character):

I have a new web site. It’s sort of my answer to the persistent requirement to have a professional weblog. I call it Stop Being Broken, and it’s primarily a video podcast about usability.

Here’s an example episode:

I hope you subscribe and enjoy more in the future!

Theynow on Facebook

Posted by Bryan at October 24th, 2007

If you’re interested, I created a Facebook group for Theynow listeners, where we can share photos or videos or communicate with each other in various ways, most of which have not been attempted by me, yet. It’s an open group, so enjoy all you want!

Theynow backstage on Twitter

Posted by Bryan at October 1st, 2007

If you’re interested in following how this show is made, you can follow me on Twitter. It’ll be more about podcasting and less about They Might Be Giants, but I thought I’d throw it out there anyway, in the spirit of transparency.

Dog on Fire

Posted by Bryan at September 17th, 2007

I get a lot of people coming to theynow.com looking for “Dog on Fire”, the tune composed by Bob Mould and performed by They Might Be Giants as part of all the incidental music they recorded for The Daily Show.

I’ve played the most complete recording I’ve ever encountered on the show already, but since “you asked for it,” here it is again. It’s not complete, but it is a lot more of the song than you usually hear on The Daily Show: Bob Mould, as interpreted by They Might Be Giants: “Dog on Fire”.
