No, You Don’t Need an iPod

The term “podcast” often scares people into thinking they need an iPod to hear the show, but that’s just not true. Yahoo! Podcasts has a good explanation of what a podcast is and isn’t, but to summarize: you can listen as long as you have a computer. If you want to take it with you, all you need is a device that plays MP3s.

In order to get the show delivered to you every time there’s a new episode, the software (or website, or whatever) you use to listen to podcasts will want this address: http://feeds.theynow.com/theynowcom

If you’re using iTunes, copy that link, switch to iTunes, go to Advanced > Subscribe to Podcast and paste the link in the box that shows up.

I Don’t Want Any New Hardware or Software

Each update will include a direct mp3 download link. You could periodically visit and grab the mp3 from time to time.
